By submitting this form, you authorize Leaf-Vac to schedule and perform your gutter cleaning service. A date will be confirmed by both parties and service will commence accordingly.

Schedule:

Due to the high volume of gutter cleanings and various factors affecting service duration and scheduling, customers will be given an ETA on the day of scheduled services. Your presence at home is not necessary on the day of service. Our technician will notify you an hour before arrival, clean your gutters and downspouts, collect all debris, document the service with photos, and provide feedback on the condition of your gutter system.

Payment:

Service pricing is determined by the scope of work, location, and any other applicable factors. An estimate or quote will be provided prior to the commencement of any work. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the services. Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, cheques, or other approved forms of payment.

In cases of non-payment or overdue balances, Leaf-Vac reserves the right to apply late fees.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

You may cancel or reschedule your service appointment by providing us with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel or reschedule without sufficient notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee.

Privacy and Data Protection:

By using our services, you agree to the collection, use, and processing of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

Intellectual Property:

All content, including trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed on the Leaf-Vac website, is the exclusive property of Leaf-Vac and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. No content from this website may be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent from Leaf-Vac.

Indemnification:

You agree to indemnify and hold Leaf-Vac, including its owners, employees, and affiliates, harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities resulting from your use of our services, any violation of these Terms and Conditions, or third-party claims related to your property.

Force Majeure:

Leaf-Vac shall not be held responsible for any delays or failure to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of nature, government regulations or actions, labor strikes, or technical malfunctions.

Guarantee:

We off a 30 day Guarantee which ensures the removal of any clogs that may lead to overflowing gutters during rain, though it does not cover a full re-cleaning, covering only the removal of overlooked debris from the initial service. Customers are advised to check their gutters during the next rainfall and report any issues promptly.

Leaf guards:

Our services include clearing debris from your leaf protection system and cleaning the access channel for hooded systems. We will also inspect and remove any blockages in your gutters and downspouts. For homes with leaf protection systems, gutter cleaning differs, as the removal and re-installation of leaf guards are not part of standard pricing. Please note that cleaning may be less thorough with leaf protection, and some residue may remain without affecting functionality. If maintenance has been neglected, complete removal of the leaf protection may be necessary, giving you two options: 1) abandon the system, particularly if it is damaged, or 2) remove, clean, and reinstall the existing system if it is still effective.

Our Policy:

This agreement declares that the customer confirms their property/building is accessible with no obstructions, is structurally sound and capable of bearing the weight of workers and equipment. If this criteria is not met, the customer assumes full responsibility for any resulting damages, and Leaf-Vac will not be liable for issues such as broken, cracked, or dented items.
The term "gutter cleaning" does not imply that gutters will be free of dirt, marks, or stains. Instead, both parties acknowledge that the primary aim of gutter cleaning is to ensure adequate drainage from the roof through the gutters and downspouts to the ground or an underground system. Minor debris or shingle grit may remain but will not obstruct water flow. Exterior gutter cleaning is not performed unless requested.
Leaf-Vac disclaims liability for any property damage, directly or indirectly related to water, including mold, mildew, drywall, landscaping, windows, siding, or wood trim.
Customers must report any property damage believed to be caused by Leaf-Vac within five business days after project completion.
Services are available daily from 7:30 AM until dusk, weather permitting.

Ground drains:

Leaf-Vac cannot clean compacted ground drains but can attempt to flush them using a standard water hose. If clogs persist, a certified plumber will be necessary. Note that corrugated ground drains cannot be snaked due to their construction. Additionally, Leaf-Vac offers the option to flush your gutters and downspouts with water upon request.
